Washington Global Health Alliance Discovery Series Presents: “Kenya Ministry of Health Proposed Framework for Elimination of Paediatric HIV and the Anticipated Challenges”

Biography
Professor Nduati is an internationally recognized authority in mother-to-child HIV transmission and pediatric HIV and is the Chair of the University of Nairobi Department of Pediatrics.  She has led several important HIV clinical trials, is director of NARESA (Network of AIDS Researchers of Eastern and Southern Africa), which pioneered delivery of PMTCT services to > 400 sites and > 100,000 women, provides expertise to the Kenyan Ministry of Health and WHO, and is currently  leading  efforts to decentralize Kenyan medical education as part of the new PRIME-Kenya initiative.
